Our Story
Founders Lorraine and Shepherd have many years of experience in the heart of health and social care. Lorraine’s journey took her through various environments, from Supported Living and drugs and alcohol services to mother and baby units. Shepherd, on the other hand, was deeply immersed in the world of Radiography.
During this period, Lorraine and Shepherd often found themselves engaged in lengthy conversations about the challenges within the health and social care system. They were particularly concerned about the lack of communication between services and the way individuals, especially the elderly, were treated. They noticed that vulnerable seniors struggled to understand many aspects of their care, often being directed to the internet for help, which felt impersonal and overwhelming. The lack of holistic care and the tendency to overlook the unique needs of each person deeply troubled them.
Despite these frustrations, Lorraine and Shepherd found great joy in connecting with the elderly. They took pride in ensuring their elderly clients were happy, informed about the next steps in their care, and well looked after. Their dedication did not go unnoticed; they frequently received heartfelt compliments from the relatives and loved ones of the elderly people in their care.

The Vision
Fueled by a desire to make a difference, Lorraine and Shepherd founded Shabach Healthcare in 2020. Their mission was simple: to provide care that is right and unique for each individual. At Shabach Healthcare, we live by the motto, “Treat people how you would want to be treated.” We see beyond the condition and recognize each person as an individual with unique needs.
