Healthcare Assistant

Job Description

  • Helping and supporting service users to manage any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
  • Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
  • Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
  • Support with administrating medication.
  • Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements

  • Have a right to work within the UK
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role
  • No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
  • Work authorization: United Kingdom (required)
  • Expected hours: 20 – 37.5per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Pay: Competitive rates.
