Peg Feed Training

This month, our staff took part in peg feed training at our HQ in Manchester. The aim of the training was to help our team understand more about how to support customers who require peg feeds and to ensure that we are providing the best possible level of care. We help service users who utilise a PEG, and this training was an important part of that process.

The training

The training started with a briefing from our expert trainer, who explained the different types of peg feeds and the equipment required. Our team then had the opportunity to practice setting up peg feeds and administering them to mock patients. This was followed by a debrief, where we discussed any challenges that we had encountered and shared best practice tips.
